A Christmas Carol, is a novella by Charles Dickens, first published in London by Chapman & Hall in 1843 and illustrated by John Leech. It is an adaptation of the 1939, radio play starring Lionel Barrymore, whom some say is the best and only Ebeneezer Scrooge.
